1. The weekend is over and we are back to "real life". Okay not real life at all but business visits yes. We were still in Chiang Mai though which is the most tropical and least busy we will be I think! Our first visit was a think called rainy's. They make flys for fly fishing! I want to take you guys there! The best part is it is a business started by two lady's from Logan. So they spoke English!! They are actually the ones who have been setting everything up for us in Chiang Mai. They're story is pretty cool and it was an interesting conversation about owning and running a business abroad. They don't actually sell much of there product on Asia. But they just opened up a factory in Cambodia. Amazing ladies! Go entrepreneurship! Rainy is in the top ten fly fish makers in the world all of which are men except for her!
2. Our other visit was cool but no one could stay awake. I think the 4 am was finally hitting us. It was a struggle. It was a cardboard company but still really cool. They are starting to make art and furniture out of cardboard out of paper now, not just boxes. Entrepreneurship can be within a business too, it doesn't have to be a completely new business. We asked their advice and each companies thing was to be honest and always have integrity. Pretty cool because most companies are not like that in Asia!
3. We had to check out of our hotel this morning so we were stuck for a little while. We went to a huge department store/mall and it actually kind of felt like I was in America. It was huge!!! I had Dairy Queen too. Didn't taste the same... But they do sell Oreo blizzards for a dollar. We sat on a bench and relaxed for an hour and then headed for the airport. Lots of traveling and lots of planes but our group is getting pretty quick at it. I am still in my heels and dress though. Love you guys so much. I am so happy and grateful to be here. We are having a blast. Thankful for the ones who helped me get here!
