Top Three:
1. Visited the grand palace. It was definitely grand. But so many Asians. It was a really popular tourists sight and it was hot and crowded. The palace was beautiful though! Strict dress code again though... And apparently you can't wear all black so I couldn't wear my black maxi dress and I had to wear the mom skirt! Still good pictures though! None of us loved our tour guide for Bangkok so it was a little long. After we finished the tour a bunch of people wanted to go back to the hotel but I went with a group and we walked to the reclining buddah. Another temple. The buddah was huge though!! And the temples there were some of my favorite. Since the bus left we got to ride a tuk tuk home! I will be honest it was not as fun as I thought it would be.
2. Tuesday was our day in the life project. I was in a group with all girls, including K Li. She is hilarious! I seriously love her. She kept taking pictures of us and would make us do the craziest things! I am currently sitting on a China southern airline and you were right mom... It smells weird! Lots of weird food, oil, and perfumes. I am the only one in the group not sitting by anyone else from the group.. But it is alright! Gives me a lot of time to write in my journal. Back to Tuesday! So for Day in the Life we were each assigned a train station and then you were supposed to explore around there and we had a photo contest with different categories. Shelby was in my group but she had to go to the hospital because she had some bruising bug bites. Dan and her met us at the giant mall at the train station and guess what they were eating.... Mexican food!!!!! I had a bite of her burrito and it was the best bite of food I have had since I have been here haha That should probably be my number one for the day. Haha So as far as our day in the life experience.... We stayed in the giant mall the whole time. This mall was huge though and pretty cool! They have a cool food court system but I just got a smoothie. Ashley got this freaky looking fish and k Li got cow stomach. The fish smelled so bad!!! Ashley got her hair cut while we were there haha It actually looked pretty good!
3. Swimming on the roof top. The view from up there was amazing!!! I doubt we will say anywhere else as nice as that. It was also the first time I have been cold all month! Haha
