Thai Duong is over!!! The factory was amazing though. They are much larger than I though. I didn't have my phone on that visit but other people took pictures I will have to find.
A Vietnamese student living in Hanoi took us to dinner well more like went with us. It was a classic cheap Vietnamese dish. I was nervous about the ground beef meatballs but I am alive! Haha It is called ban Hun or something like that! We kept calling it booyah. Lexi even liked it!

Rachel's Commentary: So, I think we might have a world traveler on our hands, and an adventurous one at that! She is loving it. She says she is just trying to soak it all in and internalize it all! The factory she refers to is a company that had asked usu to put together a presentation on expanding their business to the U.S. and so the professor asked if anyone would want to do it. she and a couple of other volunteered. She had been trying to put together a research project to submit to the honors college to see if they'd grant her any money for the trip and she thought the project might qualify so she told the professor she'd do it. So it's added to her list of things to do the last six weeks and they presented it to the company yesterday. So thus the phrase "Thai Duong is over!!!!" Haha! But the honors college liked the project and they gave her some grant money, so she was so happy she took it on!! Still not many pictures being sent this way yet but she says when she comes back she will love to show us all the pictures and tell us all about her trip...
